Your app on Android and iPhone

The agents build one phone app for both platforms, with the API it calls — and a web app beside it if you want one. Every deploy builds it, testers install it, and you publish it from your own store accounts.

A project's phone app on the Environments tab: a deploy to test builds it for Android, which testers install by scanning a code, and for iPhone, which is uploaded to App Store Connect and reaches testers in TestFlight.

From the first screen to the stores

One project holds the phone app, its API and any web app beside it.

  • One app for both platforms

Built with React Native and Expo, in the same project as its API and any web app.

  • Accounts done properly

An app with accounts gets sign-in with email and password, and the account deletion inside the app that the stores ask for.

  • Try it while it is built

You try it in the dashboard at a phone's size, and QA tests it there with touch.

  • Built at every deploy

Each deploy to test or production builds and signs it for Android and iPhone, on OneActor's machines.

  • Testers get it quickly

Testers install the Android build from a link or its QR code. The iPhone build reaches them through TestFlight.

  • Published from your own accounts

OneActor uploads each iPhone build to App Store Connect; you upload the Android build in Play Console and submit both for review.

From the wizard to the stores

What the agents and the platform do, and the few steps that stay yours.

  1. Tick Phone app

When you create the project, on its own or beside a web app.

  2. The agents build it

With the API it calls. You try it at a phone's size while they work.

  3. Connect your App Store Connect key

Once, for iPhone builds. OneActor registers the app, makes its certificates and profiles, and uploads each build.

  4. Deploy and hand it to testers

Android from a link or a QR code, iPhone through TestFlight.

  5. Publish

From your own developer accounts. The dashboard lists the steps that are yours, with what to enter.

Good to know

  • Publishing needs your own Apple Developer Program and Google Play accounts, whose fees you pay to Apple and Google.
  • OneActor does not write your store listing or submit your app for review: you press the stores' own buttons, and each store decides on its review.
